DaVinci Legacy Group has developed a uniquely complete and stringent invention evaluation system. Clearly, an invention's likelihood of achieving commercial success must be virtually unquestionable before our investment in its marketing and licensing can be made. Consistent with industry accepted PIES (Preliminary Innovation Evaluation System) evaluation standards, our proprietary ScoreFinder Invention Evaluator™ is the vital first step on the path to successful product marketing and licensing.

It is important to remember that an invention can be an extremely clever idea, but have little or no commercial value. ScoreFinder's fifty-nine (59) separate criteria are designed to measure the specific qualities and attributes of your invention, and then translate those measurements into a "commercial viability score". These criteria are scored by our evaluation panel, which can include experts in the areas of marketing, in-store merchandising, e-tailing as well as everyday consumers. The invention score must be high enough to prove that it has crossed the line from "clever idea" to viable, mass-marketable consumer product, with a very high probability of success in the marketplace.

Every ScoreFinder™ evaluation is accompanied by a detailed results report, with data showing you the strongest and weakest attributes of your invention. Only those inventions receiving a suffcient point score to earn our "A" grade will be eligible for our pro-bono invention marketing and licensing program. In the event that your invention does qualify, we will invite you to place your invention into our program—at no expense to you. If you choose this option, the cost of your evaluation will be refunded to you in full.
